Let's pick up where we left off.
It is our last night in this beautiful, oceanside city.
Chris & I hop in a cab and take a short ride over to Bar Esquina.
This lounge restaurant was highly recommended by a friend back home.
With tall cocktail tables in the marble bar, a bi-level, open-air dining room, chalkboard menus written on columns that front an open kitchen, and live music.
It features a unique twist on Mexican influenced Mediterranean flavors using locally grown, organic produce.
We oblige & follow behind with our drink in hands.
We settled down at our little nest directly across from the bar inside & adjacent from the live band performance.
It was utterly delicious & fresh.
I couldn't help myself and let my eyes rolled back & let out a moan or two.
Foodgasm!
Say hello to my ex-boyfriend and my new fiancé.
Cheers to our engagement & a fabulous weekend in Cabo San Lucas.
It didn't take us long to glance at the menu before we ordered our food.
The first roll was so good we had to order another one.
And for the main entree we opted for Pacific lobster "spaghetti" with lobster bisque and roasted tomatoes.
This dish was by far our least favorite.
The pasta tasted like store bought Asian ramen noodles.
Not impressive at all.
It is such a terrible waste of fresh, sweet lobster meat.
It was their congratulation to us on our engagement.
The star was the champagne ice cream.
It tasted like sweet champagne snowflakes.
Promise me you will try Bar Esquina if you visit Los Cabo.
You won't be disappointed. Trust me.
After all, it was where the magic happens.
