Having wandered up & down the magnificent Avenue des Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe & back, we made our way to La Maison Angelina on Rue de Rivoli for their famous chocolate & pastries then we hopped, skipped & jumped through the park & to the Louvre before ended up at the famous bridge, Ponts des Arts. Paris is known as the city of love (and many other things) & this famous love padlocks bridge is the most romantic spot that stands above any of the amorous Parisian location.
Along the way we stopped & fed the birds...literally. Chris seemed to enjoy it way more than I did...I was a bit apprehensive.
Some say the only way to break the seal of love brought on by this love lock act is to find the key & unlock the padlock -- which is nearly impossible, since the keys lie at the bottom of the river. Yeah, good luck with that one...
Whether you're just admiring the ocean of locks or adding to the collection, these bridges are definitely two spots to stop while in Paris.
